It was all I could do not to post every Landon Pigg song I love.

PIGGy

Piggsters. Don't let his hair sway you.

HHEYY.

I'm feeling so Landon-ly Pigg-ed out today. Sooo, here's one of my favorites! This was our first song, Landon and I. HAHA.

When I first heard this, I thought I was forcing myself to like it. I felt half-hearted about both the music and the lyrics. Honestly, I really thought the lyrics were quite below my standards. EENK. And I guess I was over- evaluating because I realy wanted to LIKE his music.

By the way, I came to know Landon from the movie "Whip It", directed by Drew Barrymore (YEEY!) and starring Ellen Page and many others. I really love that movie. It's about roller derby (I seriously do not know a thing about that). Anyway, Landon plays Oliver, the love interest of Bliss (Page) but in the end he turns out to be a big douche. He's a band vocalist in that movie and I didn't seriously think he was a musician but in fact he is. The songs he were singing in the movie was actually his works. So, YEAH, he's great like that.

I don't know, after hearing a lot of his music, I...I basically liked him. This song was always first to play in my list (I don't know why but I don't shuffle) and after some time I became more familiar with it and then I would start to feel all tingly and light-headed every time I hear the first two lines. There came a time when I would give a happy squeal and I'd go crazy over hearing just the intro music. HAHA. Good times. It was like having your crush send you a sweet text message. LOL. Because! Because everytime it was like he was singing the song to you. And he was in love with you.

YES, crushing on Landon. Though I've just discovered that he has a galfriend. Mae Whitman, whom I know through some movies. Okay, I like them together. Peesh.

Anyway (this wasn't supposed to be an artist post), I still love him aaand this song is just soo...nakakakilig.
PLUS, he has this cute music video to go along with it.

Lyrics:
I think that possibly
Maybe I've fallen for you
Yes there's a chance
That I've fallen quite hard over you

I've seen the paths that your eyes wander down
I wanna come too-

I think that possibly
Maybe I've fallen for you

No one understands me
Quite like you do
Through all of the shadowy corners of me

I never knew just what it was
About the same coffee shop I love so much
All of the while I never knew-

I never knew just what it was
About this old coffee shop I love so much
All of the while I never knew-

I think that possibly
Maybe I've fallen for you
Yes, there's a chance
That I've fallen quite hard over you

I've seen the waters that make your eyes shine
Now I'm shining too-

Because, oh because
I've fallen quite hard over you

If I didn't know you, I'd rather not know
If I couldn't have you, I'd rather be alone

I never knew just what it was
About the same coffee shop I love so much
All of the while I never knew-

I never knew just what it was
About this old coffee shop I love so much
All of the while I never knew-

All of the while
All of the while, it was you
You-

So so so long!

Candlelight-Relient K

Relient K, one of the best bands ever. While trying to look for a good lyric video, I was contemplating, trying to see and listen to this in a different person's point of view. Yes, I like them that much that I have no room for objectivity sometimes. HAHA. Well, Candlelight is one of their so-so songs. I like how these guys put HUMOR in everything. They taught me how music can be super FUN.

Enjoy!
Lyrics:

To know her is to love her
I'm going undercover
To catch a glimpse
But not get caught

But to see her
Could be worse
If I don't get my head straight first
On second thought I guess I'll not

She's almost brighter than the Sun
Seems to me to be unfair
When you consider everyone
Who pales when they compare
When they compare

Can't hold a candle to her
Cause all the moths get in the way
And they'll begin to chew her
Entire attire until it frays

She outshines anyone
Who ever might dare to bask in the same candlelight

Oh please don't seat us in the back
With all the insects and the trash
She is a lady, I'm the tramp
Collecting stares from pairs close by
Then flutters and the butterflies
Ew just a moth drawn to the lamp

She's like an ancient artifact
Something you're lucky to have found
She'll pinch the nerves in all the necks
When she turns those heads around
Those heads around

Can't hold a candle to her
Cause all the moths get in the way
And they'll begin to chew her
Entire, entire to embrace

She outshines anyone
Who ever might dare to bask in the same candlelight

Who ever might dare to bask in the same candlelight
She's almost brighter than the Sun
Seems to me to be unfair
When you consider everyone
Who pales when they compare
When they compare

Can't hold a candle to her
Cause all the moths get in the way
And they'll begin to chew her
Entire, entire to embrace

For she outshines anyone
Who ever might dare to bask in the same candlelight

In the same candlelight

All About Us- He Is We ft. Owl City

If you want sweet, well, He Is We is the band for you!
Here's a collab with Adam Young and the first of their songs that I've heard.
I like it so so much and I hope you enjoy it! :P
Here's the music video:
And...I know somebody will want to learn how to sing this sooo..here's a lyric video.
Actually, there's an earlier version of this. It's the original featuring Aaron Gillespie. I'm not sure which version's better but I think I'm liking Adam's more. It's stronger, I think? Anyway, here check the other version out.
Lyrics:

Take my hand, I’ll teach you to dance.
I’ll spin you around, won’t let you fall down.
Would you let me lead, you can step on my feet.
Give it a try, it’ll be alright.

The room’s hush, hush,
And now’s our moment.
Take it in feel it all and hold it.
Eyes on you, eyes on me.
We’re doing this right.

Cause lovers dance when they’re feeling in love.
Spotlight shining, it’s all about us.
It’s oh, oh, all,
About uh, uh, us.
And every heart in the room will melt,
This is a feeling I’ve never felt but,
It’s all about us.

Suddenly, I’m feeling brave.
Don’t know what’s got into me,
Why I feel this way.
Can we dance, real slow?
Can I hold you,can I hold you close?

The room’s hush, hush,
And now’s our moment.
Take it in feel it all and hold it.
Eyes on you, eyes on me.
We’re doing this right.

Cause lovers dance when they’re feeling in love.
Spotlight shining, it’s all about us.
It’s oh, oh, all,
About uh, uh, us.
And every heart in the room will melt,
This is a feeling I’ve never felt but,
It’s all about us.

Do you hear that love?
They’re playing our song.
Do you think we’re ready?
Oh I’m really feeling it.
Do you hear that love?
Do you hear that love?

Do you hear that love?
They’re playing our song.
Do you think we’re ready yet?
Love I’m really feeling it.
Do you hear that love?
Do you hear that love?

Do you hear that love?
They’re playing our song.
Do you think we’re ready yet?
Oh I’m really feeling it.
Do you hear that love?
Do you hear that love?

Lovers dance when they’re feeling in love.
Spotlight shining, it’s all about us.
It's all about us.
It’s all, all, all, all.
Every heart in the room will melt,
This is a feeling I’ve never felt,
But it’s all about us.

Cause lovers dance when they’re feeling in love.
Spotlight shining, it’s all about us.
It’s oh oh all about us
(hey-ey hey)
And every heart in the room will melt,
This is a feeling I’ve never felt but,
It’s oh, oh,It’s all about us.

SOOO long!

Every Heart-Sara Haze

Hey y'all (I caught this y'all disease, thanks @MacyMarieMaloy). This is Sara Haze. I like her music very much. Very empowering and inspirational stuffs. I chose this video because it's live....and she introduces David in the beginning! I'm so sorry, I just like David (the violinist) so much. He's my friend on Facebook (YEAAH!). HAHA. Sorry. YEAH, so Sara's been on tour a lot I think. She did shows with Joe Brooks and The Ocean Grove Band and that is how I stumbled upon her. Here is a studio version of this song.  And the lyrics are down there. ENJOY!
Lyrics:
A summer sunburn
The smile you earned stumbles and falls
The lessons you’ve learned
Choices you’ve made
Your first heartbreak
Getting too old for the batman cape
Simpler times, wanting to fly
Mesmerized by Christmas lights
Holding out, giving in
All the what ifs and might have beens

Every heart has a story to tell
Some dreams have wings
Some are torn at the seams
And just sit there on the shelf
If you were to walk in my shoes
You would see we are all the same
So find the love inside yourself
Because every heart has a story to tell

A starburst rush, your first real crush
You’re bit by a dog, a yellow school bus
Sweet sixteen, that concert you missed
Your best friend and your first kiss
Learning to fall and wanting it all
Believing in Santa clause
A letter you wrote
A promise you broke
Knowing when to say yes and when to say no
Every heart has a story to tell

Some dreams have wings
Some are torn at the seams
And just sit there on the shelf
If you were to walk in my shoes
You would see we are all the same
So find the love inside yourself
Because every heart has a story to tell
So far away life can take you
Never forget the hearts that shaped you

The love of your life
The fourth of July
The times that you laughed so hard you cried
The first day of ballet
Hardships you’ve faced
All the memories along the way
It’s the love you lost, the love you made
Makes us who we are today

Every heart has a story to tell
Some dreams have wings
Some are torn at the seams
And just sit there on the shelf

If you were to walk in my shoes
You would see we are all the same
So find the love inside yourself
Because every heart has a story to tell

This is my heart, this is my story to tell
Every heart has a story to tell

LEIRA! YEAH YOU! As promised...

Hey LEIRA!

This is my lousy blog which is utterly bare. I want to do this blog and make it the BOMBEST thing I have ever done but honestly, typing is not my most favorite activity. And besides, what do I know about these computer stuffs?

But I will do it for YOOOUU!

Pero please just forgive me. For my mind is a cluttered mess and I can just do random songs that pop into my head. This will not be any more organized and any more systematic as my backpack when we were in high school.

But I hope you really check things out, enjoy them (or not, whichever you prefer) and comment! I love you!

♥♥♥Nikka

Read my old posts for the time being as I think of what song to write about (there's so many, I can't choose). But I'm warning you that those are quite old entries na talaga. HAHA.

Here's to you SUPERMAN! :D

Right. This is a blog entry for my Brit baby, Joe Brooks! *applause, applause*
Joe Brooks (born 18 May 1987) is a British singer-songwriter, born and raised in Southampton, United Kingdom. He's an Indie artist and I'm totally in love with him :D He was signed to a record label before but now he's backed to being unsigned.
Just like how I know many artists, I added him on MySpace. Just saw him somewheres and added him without really listening to his music. HAHA. I think at that time I swore to myself that I'd listen and organize my friends list and just unfriend those artists that I don't have a particular liking to but I just never got around to doin' it. Yeah, then after some time I saw (on MySpace as well) his single release. That was the release of Superman, his most famous song. I saw this picture of him and was interested. I thought I'd really like to learn a song that's titled Superman.
So I went to his page, listened to the track and thought "Hey, this guy's no joke. I like him." So I kinda half-listened to his other tracks and really realized how good he was.
Joe's really great. He's a great singer and an even greater songwriter. And he's Brit for goodness sakes. It literally adds to his over-all appeal. His accent is to die for. At first I didn't think he was good looking but he actually is. His songs are very meaningful and romantic. He's a passionate boy and he's got heart. And I don't know if his first name and initials are purely coincidental but I guess I'll just ignore that. I guess JB and Joe will have double meanings from now on.LOL
He recently did shows with the Ocean Grove Band and Sara Haze. That was seriously EPIC. If you didn't already
know, Sara Haze is a BEAUTIFUL(in every sense of the word) female artist who I am also addicted to (Mainly because of Joe too). And Ocean Grove Band is what we previously know as the Bulldozers and the Jonas Brothers' band! Consisting of John Taylor, Greg Garbowsky, Jack Lawless and Ryan Liestman. I'll talk about them in an
other entry, perhaps. And that is a serious advantage for Brookie, considering the band's fame (even if they're just starting under the new name). What's seriously MORE EPIC is Joe coming to the show! Yeah, I mean JOE JONAS.
The TWO Joe's together.
Brookie looks sickly beside Jonas.
That's a photo of them. To prove that the encounter really happened. HAHA. I seriously died seeing that. My two Joe's. TOGETHER. STOKED. Brookie looked sickly beside Joe. But I still love him. Skinny body and all. XD
Joe songs I love and some comments.
1. Superman. Because it's the first of his that I heard. And it's really romantic. I utterly LOVE the video. I was able to see Brookie's adorkable side. If you wanna watch the video, just follow this LINK.
2. Apple. Because! HAHA. I know someone named Apple. And whatever, this song's really catchy and funny (for me). Listen to it HERE.
3. Five Days of Summer. This song is really romantic and sad. Just imagine, telling somebody you love her enough to let her break your heart again. And his voice is just so very sweeeet. That is so, I will love you forever. Listen to it HERE. This is a good lyric video by the way. HAHA.
4. Getting Away. Upbeat and fun! It makes you wanna grab somebody's hand and dance under the sunshine. And get away in some crazed fun trip with the singer. HAHA! Listen to it HERE.
5. Holes Inside. This I totally am in love with. I'm a super sucker for sad songs, you see. And this one is just sooo sad but equally relatable and you'll literally just cry listening to this. "When all that you've tried leaves nothing but holes inside." That line just throws me. Listen to it here.
6. These Broken Hands Of Mine. This was featured on Grey's Anatomy so it's pretty famous. IT'S AN AMAZING SONG. Probably sadder than Holes Inside so it just enthralls me. This just made me appreciate his songwriting skills more. :D I love you Brookie! Listen to this song HERE.

Sing me to sleep

Let's look up baby and stare at the stars tonight.

You might feel a little cold but I'll hug you tight.

I'll hold you through the night.

Forget about everything kid,

Don't be sad.

The Big McL

YES. It is now time for Jon McLaughlin to shine :)

One thing I know for sure--I love him immensely.

HAHA. So, anyway.

I first knew him through the movie "Enchanted", starring Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams.
If you've seen this movie, he sang a song there titled "So Close". Yes he's the one! He appears in the movie, singing the song during the ball. So he started singing and I, all but melted while listening. His voice is like UGH! So husky and sweet and everything glorious. Plus, he looked utterly cute and romantic! The old-school crooner style just got to me. (He's really good looking you know. But he's married. Shame.) So I waited for the credits giddily (like I always do when I like someone I see in a movie) and found his name.

So after that I started searching for his name on the internet. Jon McLaughlin from Indiana (P.S. He really loves that place.) I downloaded "So Close" but that was just about it, as I remember. I listened to one or two songs of him and didn't like them soo much perhaps (I was young and my taste then was poor). I listened to more songs and some I DID like but didn't have that much impact for me to actually love. But I was crazy about So Close and really loved listening to it. (HEY! You can watch his live performance of So Close at the Oscar's HERE where the song was nominated.)

How I really came to like him. Well flashback, Demi Lovato's 2nd album "Here We Go Again" just came out and I was reading articles about it. And I read somewhere about the collaborations. John Mayer. Of course. I just rolled my eyes to that one because it was pretty obvious, considering their exchange of tweets. Next one, Jon McLaughlin. Hey, I know this guy! I adore this persooon.

So then I listened to their collab song "Falling Over Me" and really loved it! It is now one of my favorites from the record, I really love singing to it AND Jon sings in the background! EEP! I hear and recognize his voice and all.

Anyway, I just recently found out that their working together is probably because of producer John Fields (who've worked with the likes of the Jonas Brothers and Rooney so it's kinda not surprising she works with Demi too). And I know Demi loves Jon too. I'v heard his name from her a couple of times.

It's just so cool to know when an artist you love works with another artist you love! And amazing that you and your favorite artist share the same adoration for another really good artist. You get what I say?? HAHA. Anyway, it feels riotous.

And then the rest was history for me and Jon. That time, I was really a lot more musically inclined than when I first took a listen to him. I've had a lot of listening experience to know then that Jon is a treasure! His songs constantly inspire me and make me smile. Music industry-wise, Jon's pretty ahead and healthy. He's worked with several big names, writing and producing songs and stuff and touring with great artists so I really respect him.

He has two albums (Indiana, OK Now), one EP (Industry) and three independent albums (Up Until Now, Jon McLaughlin, Songs I wrote and Later Recorded).

I can't enumerate all his songs but let me name some of my favorites: Beautiful Disaster, Human, For You From Me, Four Years, We All Need Saving, What I Want, Love, Smack Into You. If you want to listen to any of these, just click on the song title. :))

So there you have it. Jon McLaughlin. I hope you love him as much as I do. Don't let his hair hinder you from liking him (He likes to experiment ;D) If you're interested in him, you can visit his pages below.

So long!

Beautiful

Your eyes are dry, your lips tight,
but I know what your face hides.
I know you want to cry out
and give a fight.

But all hurt is kept inside.
I t seems hiding is better than explaining,
Apologizing is easier than confronting.

You're a fool.
Don't let anyone look down on you.
You're an angel.
Spread your wings and fly, soar to the heavens.

Where no one can hate you, no one can trample on you.

Please listen to my song for this situation! Click on the "Beautiful Disaster" picture to listen to Beautiful Disaster by one of my favorite artists, Jon McLaughlin. :D

Radio Disney

We haven't met yet,
But I swear I've known you before.
In my sleep, it's your smile I see.

Everybody knows you,
they see you on TV.
Now ev'ry girl's tuned to Radio Disney.
