FINALLY! A song again :) Be glad.

I am totally in love with this song right now and I take it to heart. I'm going to sing this to my husband once we're married.

I am so looking forward to more Mindy Gledhill. Maybe her entire album is the soundtrack of my life. Or even my dream life. Nevertheless.

Can you believe they didn't know that it was JT.

YEAAAH. They're JB's band boooyaaaaaah. And they formed their own shindig. They called it Ocean Grove. It was Bulldozer before. Way way before. You might know or remember that I was besotted with Garbo. I still am.

HAHA! Let's talk The Vespers.

Hey'aaaaalll!

Gads, I just realized that I've talked about the band The Vespers and how they followed me on Twitter and all that but I haven't even shared their awesome music with you!

I came to this realization because they just released a music video from their latest album and I was wondering what I HAVE posted before and it seems I haven't posted anything at all.

So, let's remedy that, shall we?

Sooo the band is composed of four people. 2 sisters and 2 brothers. But don't get confused, they aren't all related. They're two sets of siblings. Cool huh? Thought so too.

Their genre is folk pop, I think? Yeah, and they're indie. I got to know them through Jenny and Tyler of course! They promote them at every opportunity. Great friends.

They're awesome. How can the banjo and the upright bass be anything other than awesooooome?

These guys are really cute and I like their style so much. Especially the girls. I like their clothes and all.

Okay, off to music. I don't know a lot yet but I know some I really like.

Will You Love Me.
They look like pixies or some lake nymphs. HAHA.
Flower Flower.

My morning music. Just to be sunny the whole day :)

Better Now.
Fresh and new! Just downloaded some music from NoiseTrade. Download some too! Just go to NT and search them.

SO beautiful.

Why I love her. And a song.

If she's not like this, SIGH, I don't like her much..and pre-rehab she was, like, the opposite of this. I almost hated her then.

HEY, while we're here, let's have a song.

Sorry I chose the shaky video but I had to choose one with Nick in it. I always listen to his back-up vocals on the studio version. This video reminds me of Nick's musical genius. I'm betting Demi messed up the words. She always do. Songs wouldn't be hers without them.
Speaking of things-people-always-do, why does Nick always say that "C'mon give it up for (insert complete name of featured artist here)!" ? And in the same not-so-Nick manner? I don't get it.

By the way, glad Demi ditched the blondness. Her hair is finally back on the dark side The old hair doesn't become her. That added to my almost-Demi-hate during pre-rehab.

Didn't you notice that I like hyphened stuffs?

OMG this picture of Demi.

 ( :O

I've always loved that freckled nose of hers.

The Big McL

YES. It is now time for Jon McLaughlin to shine :)

One thing I know for sure--I love him immensely.

HAHA. So, anyway.

I first knew him through the movie "Enchanted", starring Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams.
If you've seen this movie, he sang a song there titled "So Close". Yes he's the one! He appears in the movie, singing the song during the ball. So he started singing and I, all but melted while listening. His voice is like UGH! So husky and sweet and everything glorious. Plus, he looked utterly cute and romantic! The old-school crooner style just got to me. (He's really good looking you know. But he's married. Shame.) So I waited for the credits giddily (like I always do when I like someone I see in a movie) and found his name.

So after that I started searching for his name on the internet. Jon McLaughlin from Indiana (P.S. He really loves that place.) I downloaded "So Close" but that was just about it, as I remember. I listened to one or two songs of him and didn't like them soo much perhaps (I was young and my taste then was poor). I listened to more songs and some I DID like but didn't have that much impact for me to actually love. But I was crazy about So Close and really loved listening to it. (HEY! You can watch his live performance of So Close at the Oscar's HERE where the song was nominated.)

How I really came to like him. Well flashback, Demi Lovato's 2nd album "Here We Go Again" just came out and I was reading articles about it. And I read somewhere about the collaborations. John Mayer. Of course. I just rolled my eyes to that one because it was pretty obvious, considering their exchange of tweets. Next one, Jon McLaughlin. Hey, I know this guy! I adore this persooon.

So then I listened to their collab song "Falling Over Me" and really loved it! It is now one of my favorites from the record, I really love singing to it AND Jon sings in the background! EEP! I hear and recognize his voice and all.

Anyway, I just recently found out that their working together is probably because of producer John Fields (who've worked with the likes of the Jonas Brothers and Rooney so it's kinda not surprising she works with Demi too). And I know Demi loves Jon too. I'v heard his name from her a couple of times.

It's just so cool to know when an artist you love works with another artist you love! And amazing that you and your favorite artist share the same adoration for another really good artist. You get what I say?? HAHA. Anyway, it feels riotous.

And then the rest was history for me and Jon. That time, I was really a lot more musically inclined than when I first took a listen to him. I've had a lot of listening experience to know then that Jon is a treasure! His songs constantly inspire me and make me smile. Music industry-wise, Jon's pretty ahead and healthy. He's worked with several big names, writing and producing songs and stuff and touring with great artists so I really respect him.

He has two albums (Indiana, OK Now), one EP (Industry) and three independent albums (Up Until Now, Jon McLaughlin, Songs I wrote and Later Recorded).

I can't enumerate all his songs but let me name some of my favorites: Beautiful Disaster, Human, For You From Me, Four Years, We All Need Saving, What I Want, Love, Smack Into You. If you want to listen to any of these, just click on the song title. :))

So there you have it. Jon McLaughlin. I hope you love him as much as I do. Don't let his hair hinder you from liking him (He likes to experiment ;D) If you're interested in him, you can visit his pages below.

So long!
