SUPER Gotye is just Somebody That I Used To Know.

Gotye, Gotye, Gotye. I love you so much that although I just discovered you and then right after that discovered you're all over the radios and I saw you on MYX and all over my Facebook news feed especially when Walk Off The Earth did that amazing cover, I'm still posting you.

I can't say much about Gotye. Except that he's cute. And his name is Wally.
I just gotta say that this few minutes of a song is so haunting.
I heard it on the radio, 99.5 RT on the RT30 Countdown.
But seriously, the selling point for me was actually Kimbra's part. Got goosebumps all over me arms. And so I told myself "Well pull my leg and color me purple! I want this song!"
The music video's real interesting as well.
The song and lyrics, well, just sad and depressing. HAHA. But it's such a great song! Got Wally winning awards too y'know. :))
Kimbra is fantastic! I think I'm inlove with her.

This is the live one which really made this song's status in my playlist skyrocket.

This is Walk Off The Earth's cover.

I hope you likey!
P.S. OHMYGEEZ that title is lame. But I'm not feeling up to anything. So not creative.

KILIG OVERLOAD LANG.

Seriously, this pair is getting to me!
I love them so much now. HAHAHA.
This song is THE SONG!
It's entitled One Eyed Cat and it makes me swoon terribly. I just watched this video and I was smiling like a delirious madwoman.

LYRICS:
you gave up your one-eyed cat, still makes you sad, but i'm allergic
you gave up trips to the beach, you used to go every week to get some surfing
you cut back on a daily routine of chocolate ice cream and three french presses
you gave up playing solo gigs to sing with me, we sound much better

i didn't mind much giving it up, cause i got even more of you...

honey, know i meant it when i said i do
long as i'm alive i'll fancy you
and our love may not look much like hollywood's
but i'll love you with all my heart (by grace)

you gave me a diamond ring, on your knee in a puddle    <<<----THIS IS SO TRUE.
you gave me your hand and trust, your very love and that was crazy
you gave me your confidence of faithfulness, when we're old and wrinkled
you gave me a kiss and a smile, a "yes, i will be yours"

so i'll never mind much giving you my love, i'll get even more of you...

honey, know i meant it when i said i do
long as i'm alive i'll fancy you
and our love may not look much like hollywood's
but i'll love you with all my heart (by grace)

you said i do so i gave you my heart, i'll stand by you until death says we part.

honey, know i meant it when i said i do
long as i'm alive i'll fancy you
and our love may not look much like hollywood's
but i'll love you with all my heart
by grace i'll love you with all my heart.  <<<--- ♥♥♥

so i'll never mind much giving you my love, i'll get even more of you

JJ Heller - Boat Song (Official Music Video)

Ohgeeezzz. JJ Heller released new music! This video is oozing with cuteness, it's definitely going in my playlist. David was so cute! He's her husband, by the way :) Will reminisce her songs in later posts!

The Sound Of Our Breathing

Just mere minutes after my previous post, I am excited again!

So, I was telling y'all about Jenny and Tyler right? Yeah, I was reading through Jenny's blog posts and she has been reading Narnia books and swooning over the awesomeness of Aslan and that making her want to love Jesus more. In short, kinikilig si teh. :> HAHA. And then she mentions this song by Jason Gray called The Sound Of Our Breathing. She wrote this:
"...Somehow I managed to get through college as an English major without reading The Chronicles of Narnia. I think I was supposed to for one of my classes at some point, but I never did. I brought the first two books with me (The Magician’s Nephew and The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe) to Portland and read them on the plane. Oh my goodness. They make me want to love Jesus more. Seriously. There is a scene in The Magician’s Nephew where Aslan is creating Narnia by literally breathing life into the earth. He breathes and flowers spring up, waters form, animals come to life, etc. It’s absolutely stunning. It reminded me of Jason Gray’s song “The Sound of our Breathing.” In it Jason asks the question, “What if the name of God is the sound of our breathing?” It’s the idea that our breathing whispers the name Yahweh. That we are worshiping just by being alive..."
That idea just made me so kilig that I went to that Jason guys blog and read about the song. As I am not good in rephrasing and retelling things, here is what he says:
The Sound Of Our Breathing
Take a breath and breathe it out. Do it again, slowly, and try to mean it. Breathing – of all things maybe we take it most for granted. Do we ever wonder why we are built this way, this soft machine of ours always pumping oxygen in and out?
In sadness, we breathe heavy sighs. In joy, our lungs feel almost like they will burst. In fear we hold our breath and have to be told to breathe slowly to help us calm down. When we’re about to do something hard, we take a deep breath to find our courage. When I think about it, breathing looks almost like a kind of praying.
I heard a teaching not long ago about the moment when Moses had the nerve to ask God what his name is. God was gracious enough to answer, and the name he gave is recorded in the original Hebrew as YHWH.
Over time we’ve arbitrarily added an “a” and an “e” in there to get YaHWeH, presumably because we have a preference for vowels. But scholars have noted that the letters YHWH represent breathing sounds, aspirated consonants that in the Hebrew alphabet would be transliterated like this:
Yod, rhymes with “rode”, which we transliterate “Y”
He, rhymes with “say”, which we transliterate “H”
Vav, like “lava”, which we transliterate “V” or “W”
He rhymes with “say”, which we transliterate “H”
A wonderful question rises to excite the imagination: what if the name of God is the sound of breathing?
This is a beautiful thought to me, especially considering that for centuries there have been those who have insisted that the name of God is so holy that we dare not speak it because of how unworthy we are. How generous of God to choose to give himself a name that we can’t help but speak every moment we’re alive. All of us, always, everywhere, waking, sleeping, with the name of God on our lips.
In his Nooma video, Breathe, Rob Bell (a pastor whose obvious gifts of curiosity and a knack for asking provocative questions can get him into trouble) wonders what this means in key moments like when a baby is born – newly arrived on planet earth, must they take their first breath, or rather speak the name of God if they are to be alive here? On our deathbed, do we breathe our last breath? Or is it that we cease to be alive when the name of God is no longer on our lips?
The most ironic of his questions is also the most beautiful: he wonders about the moment when an atheist friend looks across the table at you and says, “there. is. no. God”. And of course what you hear is “Yod. He. Vav. He.”
There are few better illustrations of both God’s largesse as well as his humility, his omnipresence as well as his singular intimate presence within each of us.
Breathe in. Breathe out. “He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs… the word that saves is right here, as near as the tongue in your mouth…” (Romans 8:28, 10:8 The Message)
That's a piece he wrote explaining his idea. If you want to read the full post, just click HERE.

Didn't that just make you want to smile and just sigh and BREATHE? God is so wonderful in so many ways. He's so awesome and cool. It makes me wanna brag about having him as my friend, my father, my companion, my savior, my rescuer, my teacher, my listener, my fan, my lover. He's so beautiful. HAHAHAHAHA. Kilig.

Hey, listen to the song, here it is :>

Everybody draws their very first breath with Your name upon their lips
Every one of us is born of dust but come alive with heaven’s kiss

The name of God is the sound of our breathing
Hallelujahs rise on the wings of our hearts beating

Breathe in, breathe out, speak it aloud Oh oh, oh oh
The glory surrounds, this is the sound Oh oh, oh oh

Moses bare foot at the burning bush wants to know who spoke to him
The answer is unspeakable like the rush of a gentle wind

The name of God is the sound of our breathing
Hallelujahs rise on the wings of our hearts beating

Breathe in, breathe out, speak it aloud Oh oh, oh oh
The glory surrounds, this is the sound Oh oh, oh oh

In him we live and move and have our being
We speak the name as long as we are breathing

So breathe in
Breathe out…
Doubters and deceivers, skeptics and believers we speak it just the same
From birth to death, every single breath is whispering Your name

Jenny and Tyler

Hey everyone! I just got home from Uni and I am quite happy to be back home. All the stress from school works is getting to me and, honestly, I'm stumped. But now I'm here and I've eaten a late dinner so I guess all iz well again :>

I really want to take this time to write about this couple (they're married) I've discovered just sometime this week. As you may (or may not :/) know, I sometimes go to Noisetrade to discover and download music for free. Cause I feel bad sometimes when I know I'm pirating music. At least in Noisetrade we know that the artists put them there, it's legal and it's totally free. I do not have the moolah to buy from iTunes okay?

So okay, I'm searching for them music. At first I was looking for fun. and Owl City stuff but I think the downloads were up for a limited time only and maybe I was too late. And then the couple's new album is at the Top Downloads so I checked em out. Jenny and Tyler are husband and wife and they make music together. I had time to listen to one song which was posted on their website. That girl Jenny! She pretty much got me on the first line. So I posted the video on my Facebook profile without even finishing the whole song. I dig. I think I have this weird thing for girl-boy duo's. They make pretty sweeeet stuffs. :>

Aaaanyway, fast forward to just some plenty minutes before this post, I am checking out that thing I posted on my profile. And my friend, Pauline, liked it. When Pauli likes stuffs I post, I usually assume she knows the stuff. That's logical right? So I get this feeling that maybe they're Christian. I dunno. Me and Pauli, we're Christians and she knows many Christian artists. And voila. I am right. That is such a HUGE plus! I love them so much now. You should check out their music, their site, their blog. Sign up for their mailing list, read their cute bio, go all out!

Here's the song I listened to: Faint Not. The lead single off their new three track album of the same title (which I have already downloaded FOR FREE :>)
